Located in the Șapartoc village, Mureș County, this project is the first accommodation module installed along the Via Transilvanica trail and the second prototype developed for Tășuleasa Social. It was delivered by Inginerie Creativă through a Design & Build approach, in collaboration with Dr. Arch. Dorin Ștefan.
The project was conceived as a modular accommodation solution for hikers travelling along Via Transilvanica, providing a compact, efficient, and context-sensitive shelter that integrates naturally into the surrounding rural landscape. The module consists of four prefabricated units, three sleeping cabins and one sanitary unit, with a total capacity of up to eight guests.
The structure is built entirely from timber, using a timber-frame wall system and glued laminated timber (glulam) roof beams. It was designed for a high level of prefabrication, enabling efficient transportation and rapid on-site assembly. Almost the entire building is prefabricated, significantly reducing construction time while ensuring a high level of quality control during manufacturing.
A key principle of the project is its minimal impact on the site. The module is installed on steel screw foundations—a reversible, low-impact foundation system that allows the structure to be relocated in the future without significant disturbance to the ground.

Through this project, we were involved in every stage of the process: technical coordination, structural design, building services integration, manufacturing, and on-site assembly. This experience further strengthened our direction toward fully integrated Design & Build projects delivered entirely within the Inginerie Creativă team.
